Cox box charger fix

Repair to two NK cox box charger plugs

Repair to two NK cox box charger plugs

This one and one and one where the leads had just been ripped out of the back of the plug

To get the pins out I used the tool that we get with one of our other mil-spec connectors.  Basically a round plastic tube that pushes in and opens out the rubber so the pin can be withdrawn from the back.

The back of the pin is just visible in the photo

Soldered the wires into the pins.  This is the one where the wires had been ripped clean out.  These were originally crimp contacts.

All done

  2. Hi, thanks for the posting. I was looking for the right polarity as my cables got ripped off. Helped me a lot.
