Childrens Story Object Lesson John 3:1-17

John 3: 1-17 Starts off talking about having to be reborn.

In this object lesson children's address we use a chemical reaction to make oxygen that is used to make a match relight.

I started by reading John 3 : 1-5 which is the bit that mentions the born again / born of the spirit in order to see God.

On a tray we have a tall glass and a larger jar to use as a waste bucket.

Need
Hydrogen Peroxise (From Chemist)
Bleach (From supermarket)
Matches.

Pour Hydrogen peroxide into the jar.  5-10mm deep.

Light the match and let it bun.
Actually helps that once it is burning, turn it so the unburnt bit is at the bottom.  The flame keeps the burned bit red hot.

Blow it out.

Pour some bleach into the jar.
7.
Put in the match.

The oxygen will cause the red hot bit to light up.

Note you can also use Pertassium Permngenate instead of bleach and this has the advantage of a slower and longer reaction.

PDF Edit Markup

I would like to edit a PDF.  Looking for a program to mark up a PDF document.

The name brand program is Adobe Acrobat but this costs money and before I invest that way, I figured I would see if there are free or lower cost options.
