0.5% Pasito

One of the side effects of this dieting thing is to look at the back of the label. As I read it, Pasito has 0.5% passionfruit and therefore 99.5% not passionfruit.  

One may ask how did I come so close to a bottle of Pasito and to clear my name, its on the lunch table at work.

Did not drink any!

Interesting to note that sugar is turf 2nd ingredient which i believe it is the second most common. Then we've got the 0.5% passionfruit followed by the various artificial additives. Presumably all in very small quantities and yet even with such small percentage they have an effect. 

Dinner

SATURDAY 11 APRIL 

DINNER

We'd felt tired during the day.  Possibly early rise, park run and some St Lucia moving. 

Snooze on the couches. 

We'd discussed a BBQ for dinner with sausages Phoebe had bought earlier. 

I went shopping for:

-Halumi 

-Tomatoes 

-Cucumber 

-Tin beetroot 

-Iceberg 

-Red wine

Mostly no carb but the wine included as a trade off between mental and physical health. 

She carried it down to the table in the front yard. It was very relaxing. 

GC Park Run

This week Phoebe Antonieff Mitchell and I headed down to the Gold Coast to do park run and give mags an off lead run on the beach and of course a swim in the ocean. 

As we lined up and started, mags seemed more animated and enthusiastic to gallop off. I was in for the long haul. My current objective is to get back to being able to run the whole 5k's. So we began dodging and weaving and me hauling mags back. 

Main Beach park run has a lovely course through shaded area with gravel path a few mild hills which give wonderful recovery on the down hill. 

By the half way, mags had stopped pulling which was a welcome relief. At about 3.5k's, I was done. I was hoping mags would need a toilet stop. Unfortunately not too be. Eventually with no way to assign blame, I had change to walk-run mode. 

As I entered the final straight, an over enthusiastic young lady began cheering. She needs an award. Mags and I lifted. Then crashed on the grass. 

After regaining life we cheered Phoebe over the line.

Family Dinner

Kids coming for dinner - Shepherds pie. Potato for the traditionalists and pumpkin with egg plant between the pumpkin and mince for those being watched by foxy eyes.

KEY POINTS
Boot to Bios F1 Config and click "Disable Internal Battery" 
losen 8 captive Philips screws.
Losen clips on edge of cover with non metalic pry tool.
Battery on adhesive.  Need long nose pliers 

They use cr2016 batteries 

 

 

 

 

 

Old battery was only 644mV.  That is 0.644V should be 3V

New battery was 3.0V

 

 

The sticky tape came off stuck to the old battery and seemed stuck too well to get off.  Found some double sided tape to use.

FRIDAY

Work - Wrote letters to staff. 

Labelled Phoebe's radio. 

Picked up Ro and visited Tim.

Rissoles with Mushrooms and cream.  Yum.

SATURDAY 

Park Run

Breakfast @ St Lucia

Cleaned St Lucia and reassembled roll down blinds. 

Took stuff to 2nd hand shop at West end. 

Flat battery. 

Rescued by Amy and Zac

Got battery charger. 

Bunnings - 2m hose for washing machine. Hook for St Lucia.  Phoebe bought some plants. 

Sausages, pumpkin, tomatoes and onion thing. Greens. 

SUNDAY 

5:30 rise and shine. 

6:00 Frank and Mags went for a run down to the river and then to Syndetic where the car was on charge. 

Called Phoebe's phone - Nothing. No ring.  No diversion to voice mail. 

Worried it had been found,  stolen and somehow disabled. 

Decided to go to Oxley woolies to have a look. 

Drove. 

Looked around. Called phone and this time I got a ring tone in my phone. Went upstairs and put my ear to the woolies door and called again but could not hear anything. 

Back to the car.  Called one last time and heard it ring. Looked around inside my car but could not find it. Got out and opened the passenger door.  Called again and located it in the passenger foot well. 

Home

Shower.

8:00 Frank, Phoebe & Fletch depart. 

Pick up Amy. 

Drove to Lota to Phoebe's dad. Found him in his workshop. 

We sat on the front deck. 

Phoebe had brought 

Salka- Russian smoked Cod with Olive oil and onion on white bread.

And

ROLMOPS Dutch Pickeled Herring.

Amy made coffee. 

Hot Cross buns warmed in oven with butter.

10:00 Depart Lota

11:00 Ro and Parveen had driven b to Byrnes St. I took them to see Tim at the PA.

Fixed whipper snipper.

Collected Ro and Parveen. 

Trimmed grass.

Cut branches per Phoebe's direction.  Filled green bin and red bin. 

Wrote blog.

Rested.

WHIPPER SNIPPER REASSEMBLY

Had to cut the old pipes off the carbie. 

Took a couple of attempts to reassemble.

Push the grommet close to the carbie.  

Push in the grommet and the o-ring.

Screw the fuel tank in place. 

Screw the carbie in place. 

Note that one can pull it hoses out of the grommet but you can't push them back in so you need to start with them too short ie carbie close to the fuel tank and then pull the tubes to get the carbie in place. 

Finally un screw the posidrive screw securing the throttle cable and connect it up and re insert the screw.
