School Rail Pass or Concession GoCard - Cost per year

A school rail pass Oxley - Indooroopilly = $429.20 per year
A concession GoCard cost for the same trip is $2.20 per trip.
Estimate 4 terms 37 school weeks per year.

GoCard can be used anytime anywhere so you end up with one anyway.
GoCard is a right royal pain in the ass beacuse of the touch off issues waste time.
School rail pass can only be used for the home-school & return trip.  on the train.

The complexity is school sport.
So if we do more than 6 trips then the rail pass is cheaper so if one took the train to school 2 days a week and came home four days a week = 6 trips / week on the train then thats the break even point.

As a FYI, if there were 40 school weeks per year

Went to officeworks to buy some plastic crates and managed to drop my credit card in the car park.  Subsequently picked up by someone who reported it to the bank. I only discovered this when trying to pay it, I initiated the payment with the mobile app and it hung and then the card no longer appeared. Then looked in my wallet and it wasn't there either.

Drive to Grafton via Byron

Driving down to Grafton for the BGS rowing camp. Figured a swim at Byron Bay and a burger would make for a good lunch break.

Data throttled to 1.5Mb/s if all used.  Nice but I don't think you can just use the netflix stuff early.

Vodafone
$40/mo  50GB
Excess Netflix data 1.5Mb/s is $15/mo   = $55/mo  getting close to telstra costs.
(not hotspotable) and not easily found on the vodfone web site.  Took the chat help fellow several minutes to find it.

Optus
$40.50 50GB
