Problem: Phone bleeps but why? email? text? Calendar?
Solution: On home page,
menu>notifications
To stop email notifications
Problem: Phone bleeps every time a new email arrives
Solution: Run Gmail client on the phone and while in it.
menu>more>settings> Scroll down to "Email notifications" and untick.
