We have a Haier Dishwasher that has developed a problem of not draining.
model hdw13v1w1
PROBLEM
Error Code displayed = A20 ==> Blockage in the drain
Checked that the sink is draining so it's not in our plumbing.
In the end, the drain hose was cracked and sending water into the bottom of the dishwasher. The dishwasher detected water in the bilge and stopped and displayed an error.
SOLUTION - Replaced the hose (with an after market one)
CAUSE - Poor design (See below)
LEARNING - HOW TO DISASSEMBLE
On Floor, Tip onto Right Hand Side
Remove one screw in the base. Near the back. Not the two in the middle.
Leaver off the base
In general no point in removing the kick plate.
SERVICE MODE
Cant work that out
REPLACE DRAIN HOSE

ERROR
A10 = Water fill issue - Check tap on and pipe not kinked.
A20 = drainage failure or overfill issue, meaning the machine cannot pump water out properly. To resolve this, you need to clear potential blockages from the filter, drain pump, and waste hose
REMOVE KICK PLATE
Needed table knives or flat blade screw drivers to lever up plastic tabs.
Two screws on cor-flute thing.
Dont remove in future - Nothing to see
