A Snake in my bedroom

Megan hears shrieks, serious shrieks from the children.

Investigation reveals that the cat has brought a snake in as an offering.

The snake slithered into our bedroom and under the bed.

Everyone was instructed to put shoes on.

Luckily Liam was visiting and as his mum has a pet snake, so as the most qualified, he was able to advise on the necessary action to take.

Brooms and mobs were selected from the armoury and the bed room was ransacked.  The bed was dismantled and no snake.  Then it was spotted under the bedside table.  The tongs were brought in and the snake was escorted to the front door.  Children armed with pointers were stationed along the way to keep it focused on the task at hand.  So now it is reclining somewhere in the front yard and we do not have any dust under the bed.
