Oxley ANZAC march.
Jemma marched with the guides. Megan, Chris, Dan and I watched and then walked alongside. I brought Lucy who met several other Dogs who she wanted to make friends with.
This is quite a casual march. At the appointed hour a cop car blocks outbound traffic and the marchers step off the kerb and onto the road. The traffic keeps flowing in the other direction. So low key.
And who do we see in the middle. Ensuring a Grammarian presence. None other than Mr Angus Blackwood.
The service following the march had multiple hymns (as distinct from the Corinda service that had none ) and we sang God Save The Queen. When was the last time you sang that?
