PROBLEM:
We have a Samsung laser printer. On our wireless LAN. This printer only has wifi and USB.
Various computers seem to be unable to print from time to time.
Last week I deleted the printer from Megan's surface and downloaded and reinstalled it.
Today doing the same thing to Dan's school tablet (Toshiba). Win 8.1
SOLUTION:
samsung.com.au
Selected the type (Mono Laser)
Samsung have a one driver suits all.
Downloaded V_2.50.06.00.03
Control Panel>Devices and Printers
Selected the Samsung M268 Printer.
Clicked "Remove Device"
Rebooted (Just for fun. This is Windows after all and you never reboot often enough)
In File Manager Explorer> Navigate to the downloads folder.
Double Click SamsungUniversalPrinetDriver2.exe
Choose Install.
Chose all the proposed defaults. It found our printer.
and now successfully printed.
