So Megan says "hey would you like to go to the movies tonight? "
"Sure" I said.
As we are walking into the Graceville Regal I observe we have increased the audience by 25% (better than last time when we were 100%).
Hmm me thinks....
As the film begins, Megan says "It's French".
"Oh" says I (wondering if I should have brought a mega popcorn).
"It's about a family"
"O'h yes" she says "The family is deaf".
(Should have had a coffee and bought chocolate)
So here I am about to watch a film about a deaf French family.
No car chases. No fights. No explosions. No leaping from trains. No gun fights, diving though windows or teleporting.
Although having gotten over my disappointment with "Star Wars" and having just watched "American Sniper" (action, drama, character study), I figured I was in as good a place as any to meet this challenge.
Turned out being pleasantly suprised. A good dose of coming of age stuff. (English subtitles). All in all a good evening out. & I'm glad I knew nothing about it as I went in.
