The phone is not audibly noise.
Years ago, just before we switched to ADSL2, I looked at the speed reported by our ADSL1 modem and it claimed we were getting the full 8Mb/s that ADSL1 was capable of. So we have gone backwards. Maybe the ADSL2 modems are deaf?
