No call out fee because that is already under the washing machine.
17-5-2018 The repair fellow came and looked. He took the top off and there is a circuit board and it is nicely covered in about 5mm of soft conformal coating. We could smell smoke and sure enough a charcoaled resistor is visible through the conformal coating.
8-6-2018 Emailed Endevour to ask whats happening (See below)
11-6-2018 Endeavour called me back. I missed the call and called them. Spoke to Jeff in spare parts (07 3137 3666). He advised that because the job is more than some preset limit they have to quote the extended warranty company. This meant that the spare parts were only ordered on 26-MAY-2018. The new parts (Controller board and a front panel board) are due 18-JUNE. When they arrive they will contact me to coordinate the repair.

spoke to Aranda she put me onto Brenton and he is going to talk to the repairer etc etc etc and mentioned Rachael "who has been dealing with this claim"
9-8-2018 I received a call from Brenton from "The warranty group". he advised that they have to speak with the technician to see if the subsequent fault is related to the original fault. he noted the warranty expired on 6-June-2018.
He estimates 2 days.
13-8-2018 Advised he was unable to speak to the Endeavour tech bec
17-8-2018 Received call from Brenton. Approving the "recall repair". Endevour will contact me.
23-08-2018 I phoned Endeavour spoke to Clara. She advised currently waiting on quote acceptance from "The Warranty Group". Whats this I say. Brenton approved it on the 17th. Clara confirmed that there was a note that sort of implied that in their system. She said another part added to the claim on 22nd (yesterday).
Resisting the temptation to explode I politely asked to speak to her supervisor. She advised that the Service manager Chad is away. I asked to speak to someone higher up.

another part was added to the quote (drain pump heater assy motor ) (we think the motor is the new part added)
Clara is going to check that Brenton has received the email and then call me back.
24-08-2018 Jo from Endeavour called me back. Brenton has approved the new quote. The parts are on order. We made a booking for the service tech for next Friday. 12:00 - 5pm

Oops. 10am I though 12 noon. Phoned and spoke to Tianne. She is going to call the tech and call me back.
