Went and saw "No Hard Feelings" with Phoebe.
"On the brink of losing her childhood home, a desperate woman agrees to date a wealthy couple's introverted and awkward 19-year-old son. However, he proves to be more of a challenge than she expected, and time is running out before she loses it all."
Weird parents make for a weird kid even though they are well intentioned. Helicopter parents with the best intentions make for bad choices.
As the movie progresses we see the Weird woman has issues in addition to the financial issues that drove her decision to effectively prostitute herself.
Hmm interesting. Somewhat engaging. Some awkward scenes. Some funny bits. It was OK but kind of was not as deep as it could have been. OK though.
