Thursday filming

THURSDAY 21 SEPTEMBER 2023

Interestingly I was discussing with Matt about things one does to combat depression :

1. Write things to be grateful.

2. Look up, eyes open, smile (force if needed)

3. Be in the moment.

Then as I was driving to Tim's, I suddenly felt quite down. Flooded with feelings of resentment.  Bizarre.

I hear a song and for a while it becomes my goto song. Sometimes to complete a feeling and sometimes as a pull me up. Anyway today the theme from "cheers" began to run through my head. Some pertinent lines:

"Making your way in the world today takes everything you've got" 

and

"Sometimes you want to go where

everybody knows your name

And they're always glad you came

You wanna be where you can see our troubles are all the same

everybody knows your name"

Today we lose Kendall and Ozi takes over on camera.

The morning shoot is inside with Sass and the afternoon shoot is outside with Matt and Sass. Dinner is at Rusty's house. Address TBA

In the end whole day inside on the bedroom. Sass is fighting a cold and went home for a rest in the middle of the day. By the end of the day everyone seemed happy with the result. 

Dinner in the evening at Rusty's. 

A man with a fascinating life story. I found it inspiring and uplifting that a person so different to me and who had endured such trauma in early life could achieve so much and continue to be such a caring person and be so happy.
