Carefully reach out and feel my foot and even more Tentatively stand up. It's sore but I can put some weight on it. Hobble to the car and drive to west end.
I was bow seat in an eight. The row was a bit ordinary. No pain while rowing and so I don't think I contributed disproportionately to the instability.
Breakfast ok
At work it began to throb. Got a cold pack from the freezer and that provided some relief.
Gave up and decided to go to the doc. Established that Corinda medical centre could not see me for 4 hours and likewise the blunder Rd ctr. Discovered the urgent care clinic at Canossa. Walk in, or in my case hobble in. No cost. No booking in and almost no wait.
A slight digression here as I had to park way down the hill on seventeen mile rocks road. Took forever to hobble up the hill.
Dr Liam organised a fellow to fit me with a moon boot and referred me for an ultrasound. The ultrasound people are down the corridor but a different business. They scheduled me for 3:40pm.
Hobbled back to the car. Experimented with operating the car with the moon boot. Decided too hard. So pryed it off. Drove home.
Felt spaced out. Forgot the phone on silent. A few work calls backed up.
Later Phoebe kindly arrived to take me to the ultrasound. We wound our way through the back streets to avoid the gridlock.
Now waiting for the ultrasound report.
