Hot day and a swim at the Mawhinne's

After church today, Frank, Dan and Jemma went for a bike ride.  We rode down Sherwood Road past Sherwood school and then over to the boat park.  Then down past the flying fox and onto the netball courts where a tournament was in progress.  We enquired about playing netball and was advised that I (Frank) would be escorted off the premises if I attempted to take the field but Jemma could join a team.

We then rode to the Graceville seafood shop and lunched on hot chips and soft drink.

It was hot.  Dam hot so we rode back to the church, threw our bikes in the ute and drove home.  Changed into our togs, collected the rest of the family and drove over to the Mawhinne's.

We arrived and soon established it was Sean's birthday.  Luckilly in an attempt to lower our sugar, we had brought with us chocolate cheescake, mango cheese cake and ice cream.  Candles were added and we sang happy birthday.
