I still have not worked out what the machined gold plated pins are.
The pin looks like this
Although i have shown the dimensions in mm, I suspect that it is an old design and so is probably in inches.
Also the Amphenol series 44 was originally designed by Canon and so it maybe a cannon pin.

RS do not seem to sell the connectors as separate items.
RS 246-8442 is a kit of a male and a female body and appropriate pins.
They are the same tin plated pins. Note that NK are using round machined gold pins
