DISMANTLE
The essence of the process is:
Remove the string and the bumper strip around the up of the can.
Clean the inside of the can at the top between the screen and the top edge.
Don't remove the two allen key screws at the front.
Remove the two philips screws from the bottom of the can. 
Don't lose the plastic sealers spacers.
Cover one of the two screw holes with tape.
Get a compressed air gun and Use a O ring, or soft rubber with a hole in it to to put some compressed air into the remaining hole.
Have a friend catch the guts as they fly out.

 

BATTERIES
Should get 8 cell packs.  The photos show 6 cell but I think 8 cell is what it should be.
