Warwick Von Steiglitz visit
James (jnr) was scheduled to fly in to Brisbane tonight so in the afternoon, Lewis, Clare, Morgan and Peter arrived. Morgan came complete with various incendiary devices and this spured Chris into action. Chris had been watching videos on youtube that inspired him to make some kind of chared cotton that responds well to sparks from a flint. At one stage Morgan lit up some kind of smoke / flash thing which was quite spectacular.
James was picked up. Then we all posed for a family happy snap. How often do you get the whole family together.
To save the picture, right click on it and choose "save link as". This saves the original file. If you choose "save picture as", I think you only get the low res version that you clicked on.

Sand Pit
A working bee held in the back yard to get the new sand pit installed
Jemma took on the challenge of sweeping the roof of the garden shed. It was about 50mm thick compost. Leaves that had fallen from nearby trees. Along with miscellaneous junk.
Oreo supervised and had a great time hasing leaves and being entertained. here Dan has him chasing a leaf. I had not seen him expend such enery for ages.
After we dug all the old sand out and spread it on the lawn near the house we lined the sand pit with black material of some sort. Complements on Easterfest.
Backed up the ute and shoveled out the sand.

Day Camp
Day Camp bike Ride
This week is all the Thomson children are going to the Oxley Uniting Church Day Camp.
Because their parents are too lazy to drive them, they will have to ride their bikes.
So politically un correct these days. We should drive them right to the park and then hover over them just to be sure they do everything just so
Dan and Jemma prepare by pumping tyres. Actually Dan had to put a new back tyre on because someone had been skidding and had worn out the tyre. We could not identify the culprit.

Then we had a practice ride so they would know where to go and hopefully not get lost on the way.
I took my GPS tracker with me but I think I should have had it sample at a higher rate.

jailbreak iphone 3G 4.3.2
The volume up button on my ipone has died. Volume down works. The ringer can be adjusted up in software under "settings" but nowhere can I find a soft volume control for the phone. I searched the os and also the App store. No success.
Then I let google loose and it seems that for a software fix, I have to "jail break" the iphone
OR
implement a hardware fix.
Now a hardware fix is for me probably more straightforward but "jailbreaking" sounds like a lot of fun.
My firmware is
Settings>About>Version 4.2.1 (8C148)
Instructions
http://everythingapplepro.net/?p=22
Notes
Red Snow - redsn0w_win_0.9.6b5.zip ?
Redsn0w is a WINDOWS PROGRAM that connects to the iphone.
The question I have for myself is
a) to jailbreak my V4.2.1 do I need a paricular version of redsn0w or just any version after 0.9.6b5?
