Henry and I walked from our hotel to the European parliament.

We did the self guided audio tour which seemed to be the only option.
Eventually established that the delegates session only starts 5pm so we plan to go back this evening.
Noted the contrast between old house with backyard and trampoline dwarfed by the European Parliament building in their back yard.

I interpreted this as a fractured world. Later we discovered the artist said it was a unified world.

The square things at the top are clocks. It's an arty europe and spans multiple time zones

There are many official languages at the European parliament. It is seen as important that any delegate can speak and listen in their own language so as to include everyone.
