Chris' Birthday Dinner and Campfire

Saturday night.
Sean, Erin & Family.
Paul, Cybele & family.
Beautiful roast pork.
Cheese cake x2
Camp fire.

Paul called to say he had some good fire wood. I took the ute over and brought back 3 nice logs.
It was dark and I felt guilty but fired up the Horky chainsaw. I guess that's what the neighbours love about us.

The other 2 logs provided great enjoyment to keep kids busy.

Sunday Lunch

In a bizarre oversight, Marcus was not invited to Sat night dinner. Megan whipped up a beautiful Sunday lunch and we re did the candles.

Hosing down the Pntoon

The algae has grown like mad and the pontoon is as slippery as hell. Neil & I met 3pm Sunday and attempted to clean it using Paul & Cybele's Karcher.

Somwhat successful but still plenty of algae stuck to the concrete.

We also tried a long handled scrubbing brush Neil brought as well as a broom. Neither of those were any use.

Next time we at least need a whirligig on the karcher and preferably a bigger pressure cleaner.
