Infinite pattern that Never Repeats

What's on my mind.
Well it's 2am and what better to have on my mind but the golden ratio which for the philistines, antivaxers & those who just don't care is 1.618....
I'm thinking this is what I want to tile my bathroom floor with.
"What exists that we just can't perceive because it's considered impossible....
....Seemed so obvious that no one thought to look beyond them.
...
Patterns that are both beautiful and counter-intuitive. "

NK Speed Coach Repair

A friend has a stroke coach with a broken button cover.

The unit works and the button needs to be water proof for obvious reasons.

Unfortunately the screen is glued to the case and the only way inside the stroke coach is hot air to melt the glue and that has a high kill rate. So looking for alternative fixes.

Out with the white board and a team meeting. Current plan is to make a new button cover out of some kind of tough rubber. We will 3D print the mould and some stiffening pieces. Then tear out the old button covers and glue the new assembly in place.

Ideas welcome.

This and That

Fri 3-9-2021
3:50am rise and shine.
4:10am depart
4:35am Arr West end
Rowing.  8 with Jae coxing.  I was in 2 seat.
Warm up in rolling 6's.
Some rate builds with about 15 strokes ON 15 off building on the on's 14, 16, etc up to 32 (I think) then drop back for a final at 28.  Which as expected feels really slow.  U turn at the aerial.

Then we did a simulated Brown Snake Omnium.
1500, 1k, 2k, 500m.
The 1500 and the 1k were nice and the 2k was pretty good.  The 500 was crap.  70 strokes for 500m where's that come from.

Crew was:
1 Will
2 Frank
3 Andrew J
4 Neil A
5 Andrew M
6 Cam
7 Graham T
8 Thorpe
Cox: Jae.

THUR 2-9-2021
After going to bed 7:30 Wednesday night (Was feeling really flat/down), I had a good nights sleep.  Did not get going as early as I had expected but was on my way by 6:30.

At work,
Got my data pack exporter to finally do a half decent job of exporting the BOMs as Excel 2003 XML format.  If it's a multi level structure then each level now appears as a separate tab in the spread sheet.  Unfortunately, for reasons unknown, Windows does not open excel if you double click on these XML files.  You have to drag and drop it onto windows but I got column widths and heights to work well.
