BGS rowing party

Start of season gee up.  This year held at the BGS shed.  The last couple have been at the Audi centre down the valley.    In the afternoon Adam Lusk was on the gernie cleaning the floor of the shed.  I take my hat off to the people who did the decor. The spherical paper lanterns  and some blue LED lights on the sculls really made it look good.

I provided the PA.  Basically the bush-band set-up with a hand held radio mic that Glynn kindly lent me.  I set up the fold-back speakers as FOH inside the shed and the normal FOH can be seen in the above photo.  I figured inside the shed would be a bit of a echo chamber and so a couple of smaller speakers at low volume.

Someone provided the i-pod with music that just played.  Speeches limited to introducing the president of Tipperoo, Barnaby and a bit of spruiking the silent auction.

As the night was winding down, one of the younger coaches asked of they could connect their phone to supply their music.  The music was turned up and a few extras seemed to arrive.  I assume ring in's from  Commercial (CRC) who had a 140 year club birthday party at their shed a hundred metres downstream.

I think I got home around 12:20am.
