Trying to understand a 5 wire unipolar stepper motor

Each of the 2 coils has 12 poles. They are half a pole apart
Some maths 360 / 12 = 30. 360 / 12 / 2 = 15 and 15/2 = 7.5 degrees
The stepper motor is described as 7.5 degree per step.
360 / 7.5 = 48 steps
Traditional approach is to cut the blue wire .... Or is it the yellow.
