Mother's Day 2017

Today Sunday 14-MAY-2017 is Mother's Day and in keeping with Mothers wishes we accompanied her to church.  Being a good Christian family, we took two cars.  They had this feel good activity where one would take a flower and give it to your mother.  Megan ended up with two.  I think Jemma and Sam who felt the need to present to "A" mother as his was not present.  AT 5 to 10 with the sermon in full swing Dan and I snuck out and took him to soccer.

I had a chat with Dan and established that his game went from 11am to about 12:30. Figured Brunch would be all over by game end.  C checked that he was OK not attending lunch.Proceeded back to church.

We (Megan, Chris, Jemma & myself) hopped into the Tiida and went and collected Marcus from his girlfriends house.  Then on to "Scout" cafe on Petrie Tce Spring Hill.  This place does not do bookings so Marcus advised them that we were 5.  About 15 minutes later they showed us to their group table that we then shared with another family.

Breakfast  $125.  Funky yummy stuff.  I had "Scouts Honour" plus 2 coffees because I have (another) mild headache.  Chris and Marcus had a burrito in a bowl thing.  I sent cousin Owen a FB message as he livces somewhere around Spring Hill but he was in Honiara so we did not go looking for his house.

After breakfast, we dropped Marcus at his old place in Ashgrove.  On the way home we visited mum's grave in the Toowong Cemetery.  We retrieved last years flows and regifted the ones from church.'

Notes the place was looking run down.
