Last night went with friends to see the opening of a film called "Three chords and Truth". The draw card was that we knew one of the the stars and when you've got the opportunity to hobnob with stars ......
I thought it was a great film. It had sadness and hope. Tension. Tension released with some sensitive moments and others by laughter. Wishing for a certain storyline and accepting the events as they unfold. To me more realistic than one would get with an American 'happily ever after' ending but leaving you with a feeling of OK with the world hopefulness.
It reminded me of the friend's I have and the need to support each other. I also felt moments of anger & wishing for forgiveness but hurt cuts too deep I guess. A reminder of the fragility of life. When we are up we are invincible and when we are not then every sense is heightened, we get a greater empathy.

After hobnobbing in the Foyer and seeing various cast members - The estranged daughter who played so well, the dad we hate (of course - it's 2022 after all), the older musician, the sound guy, we went and had savory crepes at a cafe downstairs.
