I have many wonderful memories of school holidays in Sydney. We would stay at my grandparents place at 92 Boundary Rd. Uncle Ken, and Aunty Mary lived right next door at number 96. :)
Aunty Mary always had a smile on her face and a welcoming voice. She would cook delicious snacks and allow us to play on her organ. They were involved with Pennant Hills Anglican Church and had a Ford Transit Van Camper with most importantly sliding doors. We loved going with her to letter box drop the neighbourhood with some brochure or other advertising church activities. The attraction was that she would drive slowly down the street with the sliding door open and we would jump in and out of the moving vehicle as we restocked with the papers to put in peoples letter boxes.
