Mobile phone stuff

Can I ditch the broadband?

Looks like we need 250GB per month.

So atm it does not look like we can move to mobile data.

Current expenditure  = Total = $200 /mo
Frank $40/mo
Dan $30/mo
Jemma $30/mo
telstra cable $100/mo

MOBILE OPTION
Looks like the current rate is about $1/GB.
Optus is $35/30GB   Vodafone $40/40Gb  Telstra $60/60GB
O $106.25  200GB plus a iphone XS  V$60/80GB
V $80/150GB plus $45/mo for the XS phone

Optus and Vodafone offering lots of data plus streaming netflix at 1.5Mb/s for $5/m

Questions:
1. If one hot spots the phone, can one use the 1.5Mb/s streaming service to watch nutflix on the PC?

Optus - you have to watch using an app.  The streaming data can only be used on the phone.

Vodafone
In one area they say
They hide the cost of the video add on.  Its actually $15/mo

Our SIM Only Plans are perfect if you already have a phone that you love. With our new 12 month SIM Only Plus Plans, stream, scroll, post and play all day, every day. You’ll get a huge amount of data at Your Max Speed, and then you can keep using as much data as you want at speeds of up to 1.5Mbps. With 1.5Mbps you can stream music and standard definition video, make a video call, browse the internet and catch up on social media. For more information on what you can do at 1.5Mbps

Question:
Can I hot spot my phone and use the 1.5mb/s data to watch netflix on my laptop?

Question:
Early in the month can I use the 1.5mb/s data somehow watching netflix and save the real data for other things?

Question
Why do I need the netflix add on at 1.5mb/s when the plan already seems to have unlimited 1.5mb/s?

They also say:-
Additional Data is automatically added at $10/GB ($0.01/MB)

Question:
How do we not have extra data and just get the 1.5Mb/s data
