Tiida Hatch jammed Shut

 The Tiida's hatch is closed as you would expect but the lock is not working and there is no manual release.

I know other web sites show manual releases but this model does not have one.

I bought of Aliexpress a new latch so I could see if I could find a way to open it and because I figured eventually I would need a new one anyway.

Two possible options to manually open.  Both require jamming something in underneath. 

a) Push on the white tit
b) Over to the right there is a small hole - push it outwards.

This is the go.  Small flat blade.  Push up the white thing and then push on the plastic piece underneath and it opens.
