Digitech USB DVR Installation Windows 7

I have a analogue capture doodad.
It came with a mini DVD titled EasyCap Capture software.
That did not work on Windows 7.

I managed to find a file on the net  via youtube video

The file was called "Easycap Drivers for Windows 7.zip"

Installation Instructions

1. Unzip 
2. Plug in the doodad
3. Open device manager
4. locate the device.  Will probably show up as "Unknown Device".  Expect the yellow question mark.
5. Right Click.  Choose "Update Driver"
6. Choose Browse my computer
7. Navigate to the unzipped file.
8. Point at the drivers.
