Entrance to the palace
Out the back we had a half sized donga. To the left of that is Ian's van. This carried the gear and acted as a store house. To the right is the green room so to speak.
Relaxing out the back. We forgot the microwave and next year we must remember to bring a fridge. This year's innovation was the Adi coffee maker and milk frothers. Soft drink by the truck load as you can see.
Marnie.
A fellow by the name of ..... loaned us a small camera crane. I was somewhat apprehensive at first but it turned out to be great. Provided some wonderful shots.
The plastic bag is to protect the camera as it started to rain and some water was dripping on the camera.
A couple of years ago we had a bit of a flood through our venue. This year we kept the mains up off the floor.
The power boards hanging from the distribution board are the video connections. We had no joins between these boards and the things they were feeding like cameras and projectors.
Back stage on "stage left". "Stage Left" means the left hand side as you stand on the stage looking at the audience. In this picture we can see the fold back mixer and lots of audio wires.
I took up a couple of fans. The audio guys used one as it was very very hot in this tent.
Megan sorting things back stage.
Jeb
Chris (Right) and others stage right unpacking and assembling Christmas trees. One hundred Christmas trees to give the venue a Narnia look.
Close up of the tiger town show. They provided graphics loops to project on the centre screen behind their performance.
In a way the photos do not do it justice because live the performance looked really good.
