Konya - Cappadocia

 Picked up the rental car and began my drive back to the hotel.  

This is why we need to be forgiving of tourists.  Stopped at a red light and people beeped at me so I pulled slowly forward and proceeded through the intersection.  Other people then beeped at me. It's not aggressive beeping and no flicking the bird  Later another red light and a similar experience only this time school kids on the crossing also looked skywards.  On another occasion I was stopped at a red light that also red a right pointing red flashing arrow.  (Right turn is a near side turn).  A fellow on a moped pulled up beside me and tapped on my window.  He indicated I should turn.  So I did.  No beeping.

I have felt very welcome here in Turkey.
