Before the election, my Facebook feed was full of very derogatory anti labour posts. Now after the election, the same posters are posting more derogatory stuff.
Here are some examples and the responses I post.
Sore losing posts do nothing to promote the integrity of the liberal party. In sport, the losing team congratulates the winning team. Shows strength of character. These negative posts just feel petulant. You don't need to appeal to the true believers you've got to show vision and leadership and connect with new people.
Sore losing posts do nothing to promote the integrity of conservative votors. In sport, the losing team congratulates the winning team. Shows strength of character.

We remember the phrase: "playing the man rather than the ball" would apply when a weak losing team would play dirty out of despiration.
You don't need to appeal to the true believers you've got to show vision and leadership and connect with new people.
Choose topics that are relevant to the mass of voting people and promote those. For conservatives that would start with the economy. The pay in a person's pocket. For small business it's the complexity of regulation. For the poor it's work, healthcare and housing. I could go on but while you are focused on playing the man rather than the ball, there's no point.
If you struggle to understand then you should resign because it is very obvious- the libs did not have policies that resonated with middle ground votors. They presented a message holier than thou born to rule, we know what's best for you idiots.
Can't do that in a democracy.
These types of posts make the libs look weak and this post in particular makes you look stupid. If you can't understand then you are stupid and just as well your contemporaries are not running the country.
You guys need to work out what the issues that concern the middle ground votors are and then work out how the liberal part would solve them. Then work out how to educate the electorate.
This election looked like your focus groups were populated with rusted on libs. You don't need to sell your ideas to your members. They will vote for you anyway. You need focus groups of middle ground people.
And stop being derogatory about the winners. It reinforces your distain of the Australian voting public.
