Brisbane to Narrandera

The Tesla was going to take upwards of 18 hours. There are no charges on the Newell north of Moree so you have to go down the New England and then come across. The second problem is they are all non Tesla 50kW chargers. This means it takes an hour to charge 300km range VS a much more reasonable 20minutes from a Tesla supercharger.

Swapped the Tesla for Graham Thomas's Mazda CX5. It was just the thing although I suspect the torque converter is low on oil or something.

Picked up Anthony just after 4am and headed west. By good luck ended up on the Ipswich bypass going to Toowoomba. Took the new Toowoomba bypass which I'd never taken before.

Pie face petrol station somewhere near Millmerran. Worst bacon and egg toastie. Lots of warmed undercooked bacon. A microwave reheated egg like leather and two bits of bread who's Journey to staleness was only slightly accelerated by the toasting process. A couple of bites and into the bin. 

Gave Anthony his first driving lesson. About 15 minutes. 

Compensated with a bacon and egg mcmuffin and a coffee later.

DINNER

Roast pork with potatoe bake and veggies from the carvery at the shell coming into west Wyalong. That was just what I needed.
